Mandy Ventrice is an American artist, songwriter, and vocal producer hailing from San Francisco’s Bay Area. Known for her candid and bold take on pop music, her playful lyrics and impressive vocal skills echo the influences of her childhood idols, including Aaliyah, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, and Janet Jackson.

Growing up in a challenging environment, Mandy found solace in music, diving into the realms of R&B, hip hop, and pop. She would scribble lyrics during class, record demo tapes after school, and perform at various school functions.

By the age of seven, she had already penned her first song alongside her father, a fellow musician. At just thirteen, she independently wrote, produced, and released her first E.P. "I sold my CD through a website my friend set up for me. It was a DIY operation—I’d burn the CDs, print the cover art, and mail them out," she reminisces. "Back then, streaming services and online stores didn’t exist, so I did everything on my own."

Soon after, she joined an all-female pop vocal ensemble in Boston, collaborating with notable songwriters such as Rich Cronin, Joshua Thompson, Shep Goodman, Aaron Accetta, and Louis Bell. The group gained considerable attention in the industry but disbanded in 2002.

At eighteen, Mandy took a leap of faith by investing her college savings into studio equipment and relocating to New York. There, she self-taught Pro Tools and began producing her own vocals, dabbling in various genres, including alternative rock, and performing at iconic venues like the Bitter End, CBGB’s, Webster Hall, and Highline Ballroom, sharing stages with acts like Panic! at the Disco and The Used.

In 2010, she became a featured vocalist on the late Ian Carey’s dance/house anthem, "Let Loose." The track went viral, amassing over a million views on YouTube and contributing to her recognition in the European dance scene. She collaborated with Germany's acclaimed DJ duo, The Michael Mind Project, leading to chart success in Europe. Her growing reputation secured her a spot on Alex Gaudino's album, "Doctor Love," alongside artists like Kelly Rowland, Jordin Sparks, and Jay Sean.

Amid her international achievements, Mandy returned to Los Angeles to focus wholeheartedly on songwriting. During this time, she partnered with hip-hop producer Just Blaze on a track for Eminem's much-anticipated album, "Recovery," and provided background vocals for artists like Kanye West, Rick Ross, and Charlie Wilson.

She inked a publishing deal with Kevin Weaver of Atlantic Records and Warner Chappell Music, collaborating with writers such as Julia Michaels and Delacey. Additionally, she lent her vocals to the immensely popular K-Pop group BTS, featuring on Rap Monster’s single for the "Fast & Furious" franchise titled "Fantastic."

In 2020, Mandy took a bold step by releasing an independent E.P. called "Second Thoughts," which she crafted remotely during the pandemic alongside Netherlands-based producer OHMR. Shortly thereafter, she co-wrote "Rise Up" with Chris Sernel (a.k.a. Oh, Hush!) for Operation Underground Railroad, contributing to their global campaign against human trafficking.

The following year, she made the move to Nashville, where she began collaborating closely with pop/country artist Pistol Pearl. She co-wrote, vocal produced, and engineered the initial releases "Boot Down" and "Knock ‘Em Dead." "Boot Down" quickly amassed over 300,000 streams on Spotify, while "Knock ‘Em Dead" exploded on TikTok. Following this success, a remix of "Boot Down" featuring Grammy-winning artist Mr. Talkbox was released in March 2025, achieving over 10,000 streams in its first week.

After grappling with years of self-doubt and what she refers to as imposter syndrome, Mandy is gearing up to release her own single, "Have You Cried," on April 15, 2025, marking her return after a four-year hiatus since her last single in 2021. She co-wrote and produced the song from her home studio, collaborating with fellow Bay Area producer Sawyr.

While balancing her own projects, Mandy continues to contribute her musical talents to the television, film, and advertising sectors, with her songs and vocals featured on Disney, Nickelodeon, Netflix, Bravo, and MTV.
